The eligibility criteria to appearing the PAE

The candidate should be:

• A citizen of India;
• Age of 21 years and above; and
• Has obtained a degree in Science, Engineering or Technology, from any University established under the law for the time being in force in the territory of India or possesses such other equivalent qualifications as the Central Government may specify.

The candidates would be trained in

• Interpretation of Indian Patent Act and Rule,
• Forms and their applications,
• Recent Amendments and its impact,
• Patent Process Flow (India, PCT, Paris convention),
• International treaties,
• Patent Drafting,
  • Claims Drafting,
  • Description Drafting,
• License and Assignment Agreements,
• Past Years Paper solving
• Preparation for Viva
